Sumed are manufacturers, suppliers and distributors of a range of medical equipment and supplies Based in Glossop, Derbyshire. Their focus is to provide solutions to the pain and discomfort caused by pressure sores and pressure ulcers on the skin of people who have limited mobility. New to the Manage At Home website are the range of Integrity static cushion. Created to minimise localised pressure by evenly distributing weight to prevent any uncomfortable tension build up, each cushion is made from high quality nonslip materials. To ensure the perfect fit, each cushion is available in a range of sizes.
Started in 2008 when Ben, Relish CEO, tried to find something he could do with his grandad as he progressed through the latter stages of Alzheimer’s Disease, the have company dedicated themselves ever since to bringing joy to life in dementia. From beautiful puzzles to games to play with the grandkids, they offer a wide variety of goodies to choose from. New Product of the Month
Wisbi Smart Incontinence and Bed Exit Sensor Mat
Monitoring incontinence of a loved one can often be difficult and if they are living with dementia or prone to falling out of bed making sure they are safe can be a challenging experience. The Wisbi Sensor Mat automatically detects when the bed pad gets wet and when a person exits the bed and sends a notification to the caregiver via an app.
The Wisbi app connects the bed pad control box to your smartphone via Wi-Fi thus giving you peace of mind that your loved one is safe and enabling you to act quickly and change bedding as soon as possible and therefore preventing pressure sores. You can adjust the amount of time that your loved one is out of bed before it alerts you.
