About the NRS Heavy Duty Rollator
The Four-Wheel Heavy-Duty Rollator is incredible strong and durable without being heavy and bulky. The rollator has an impressive maximum user weight, ideal for larger users who require assistance when walking.
Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, the rollator helps the user to maintain both their balance and stability. The strong aluminium frame can support weight of up to 35 stone, suitable for a wide range of people. Moreover, due to its low density the aluminium is very lightweight allowing the rollator to be lifted and handled with ease.
When not needed, the rollator can be folded down without the need for tools or excessive force. Once folded the rollator is a compact size which is handy for storage purposes or transporting in a car boot.
In order to best support the user, the rollator has four large diameter wheels to help evenly spread the user’s weight and help with balance. The tyres are high grip for better stability even on outdoor terrains such as grass or gravel.
The soft grip handles are comfortable to hold in order to steer and manoeuvre the rollator, coupled with the easy to reach cable loop brakes. When stationary the brakes can be locked to park the rollator and stop unwanted movements, which is especially important while seated. Both handles are height adjustable to ensure the right fit and to prevent unnecessary or painful slouching.
Despite its focus on practicality the rollator does not compromise on comfort, it features a padded seat and backrest, ideal for taking a break when on the move. Additionally, it features a detachable shopping basked perfect for carrying the essentials.
