The Doherty 2 Section Bariatric Plinth is a premium examination and treatment bed that can provide unbeatable support for larger users.

The plinth is built to comfortably withstand weight up to 320 kgs (50 stone) making it particularly suitable for Neuro or Physiotherapy. The plinth is fitted with four large castors and a central brake system for easy movement and stability.

Adjustments to the plinth are easy! With the central electronic system that can be controlled by one convenient remote to adjustments to the foot and backrest sections for extra support while in position. The precision engineered plinth can also been electronically adjusted to the most suitable heigh to assist patients transferring onto and off the plinth while also preventing any caregiver from over bending or stretching to uncomfortable stances and thus reducing the risk of injury.

Once set up the plinth is straightforward to maintain as it is made from easy to clean material and has an inbuilt paper roll holder to aid in the upkeep of high hygiene standards.
