The Doherty 3 Section Bariatric Plinth is essential for those that require a larger surface area and more weight bearing capability. The plinth is robust and stable and specifically designed to provide maximum support to the larger user.
The plinth is built to comfortably withstand weight up to a maximum of 320 kgs (50 stone) making it particularly suitable for Physiotherapy applications. Each plinth is split into three sections that allows both the back and legs to be supported in numerous positions. The plinth is fitted with four large castors and a central brake system for easy movement and safety.
Adjustments to the plinth are easy as a central electronic system can be controlled by one handy remote. Therefore allowing for any required adjustments to the foot and backrest sections for better support while in certain position. The precision engineered plinth can also been electronically adjusted to the most suitable heigh to prevent the caregiver from bending or stretching to uncomfortable extremes and helps reducing the risk of injury.
Once set up the plinth is straightforward to maintain as it is made from easy to clean material and has an inbuilt paper roll holder to aid in the upkeep of high hygiene standards.
