About the Athena Low Airloss Mattress

Sleep like a log with the Athena Low Airloss Mattress, ideal for those at a high risk of developing pressure sores but who cannot rest on a moving surface. For example, those with pain management problems.

The Athena Low Airloss Mattress circulates air around the mattress to created vented air cells which helps to evenly distribute the patient’s weight to prevent any uncomfortable pressure build up. The circulated air is coupled with a high-quality foam underlay at the bottom of the mattress to provide the most comfortable base possible, even if the power fails.

The mattress has an anti-microbial coating that is easy to clean in line with good hygiene standards, making it perfect for a home care or nursing home environment. The cover is also multi-stretch and vapour permeable to prevent any uncomfortable water build up.
