About the Foldalite Pro Powerchair
The Foldalite Pro is an enhanced powerchair, designed to be as smooth and efficient outside the house as it is inside.
The large rear wheels coupled with front wheel suspension ensures a smooth ride, even on rough outdoor surroundings. The wheels are solid and puncture proof for peace of mind on sharp terrain such as gravel. The powerful 180-watt motor allows the chair to drive easily over hills and bumps without draining the power.
Built with the user in mind, the Foldalite Pro has built in knee protectors and a larger than average padded seat. For improved comfort the back tension can be easily adjusted, and the footrest and arm rests both flip up to allow the user to get into and out of the seat unobstructed. For extra convenience the powerchair has a removable cushion and an under the seat stowage bag.
The Foldalite Pro also has additional features not usually found on a powerchair. Such as a digital joystick for auto shut down, SOS alerts and even USB charging. The joystick also allows the user to select one of three sensitivity settings, that control how responsive the stick is in different terrains. The control can be easily removed and fitted to either armrest to allow the user to decide which hand they operate the controls from.
When not in use the chair can be folded down without the need for tools or specialised knowledge. Once folded down the chair is compact enough to fit into almost any car boot. The Foldalite Pro can stand up straight with a fitted kickstand for storage purposes. When transporting, the chair can be pulled via a handle on its existing wheels, ideal for public transport.
Additionally, the powerchair has lightweight lithium batteries that can be removed for off board charging. For added convenience the chair has onboard charging in the armrests, preventing the user bending unnecessarily. When fully charged the chair has an impressive range of up to nine miles.

Delivery and Returns
A specialist company (Healthcare Distribution Direct) is used to carry out the installation and to demonstrate how it works and also take away all packaging. This option will normally take 1 - 2 weeks and you will be contacted to arrange a suitable installation date.
The Delivery Only option is really only suitable for those people who can either install themselves or get help from a friend or family member as the delivery driver will only take up to the threshold. We can normally arrange delivery within 2-3 working days assuming there is stock.
