About the Foldalite Trekker Powerchair
The Foldalite Trekker is a top of the range powerchair, perfect for everyday use or adventures outside.
The innovative design features 12” rear wheels, made from a solid puncture proof compound ideal for uneven terrain. To ensure a smooth ride, the front wheels have suspension, and the 250-watts motor makes light work of traveling over bumps and hills.
To ensure the users comfort the chair has a large padded seat with a removable cushion and adjustable back tension. The built in foot and arm rests can both be flipped up to allow the user to get into and out of the chair without obstructions. Additional handy features include knee protectors and an under-seat stowage bag.
The Foldalite Trekker can be controlled via the digital joystick, that can be easily removed and fitted to either arm rest to allow the user to operate the chair with their dominant hand. The joysticks sensitivity settings can be adjusted to increase or decrease its responsiveness in different terrains. The stick also features auto shut down, SOS alerts and USB charging.
Unlike some powerchairs the Foldalite Trekker can be easily folded down when not needed, ideal for storage and transporting. Once folded down the chair is compact enough to fit into almost any car boot. Alternatively, the chair can be stood up using the built in kickstand and transported via the pull handle and existing wheels, ideal for public transport.
Additionally, the powerchair has lightweight lithium batteries that can be removed for off board charging. For added convenience the chair has onboard charging in the armrests, preventing the user bending unnecessarily. When fully charged the chair has an impressive range of up to nine miles.
