The frame is engineered for bariatric users so they can feel supported while getting a good night’s sleep. Designed with a sturdier than average frame to accommodate users up to the weight of 41 stone. For improved comfort the frame is wider to allow the user room to move and reposition themselves.
The easy adjustments allow the user to sit up, lie down and raise their feet without any assistance, perfect for those who want to remain as independent as possible. The back rests can be raised to support the user when they are sitting up in bed for example when reading or watching television. While the footrest can be raised, a relief for those who suffer from fluid build-up in the legs.
For extra safety and security, the bed can be lowered to 245 mm the low height helps prevent injury if the user was to fall or roll out of the bed while asleep. Additionally, it makes it easier for the user to get into and out of bed. On the other hand, the bed can be raised up to 730 mm, perfect for nurses and care giver to complete tasks such as turning and repositioning the user, without over stretching or staining their backs.
