Product Information

The Opera Ultimate Mattress is specifically designed for those at high to very high risk of developing pressure sores. Its U-shaped foam core with a castellated centre provides essential pressure relief, while the high-density foam edges give extra support and stability during transfers.

Comfort and safety are balanced throughout the mattress. The central foam layer gently cushions vulnerable areas, helping to prevent the development or recurrence of pressure sores, while the firm base and edging maintain overall stability and support.

Medium to firm in feel, the mattress supports the user evenly and encourages correct posture. High-density edging along both sides ensures safer transfers on and off the bed and allows the mattress to return to its original shape, distributing weight effectively.

Hygiene is easy to maintain thanks to a wipe-clean cover treated with antimicrobial agents to resist bacteria. The cover is able to withstand repeated cleaning without degrading and can be removed with ease due to a zip on three sides of the mattress.

For enhanced comfort and skin protection, the cover is two-way stretch and vapour-permeable, helping manage moisture and microclimate around the skin.
