The Alerta Lomond Rotate Stand-Up Bed is a powered rotation bed designed to take patients from a horizontal position to seated and standing positions independently without requiring assistance from carers.
The hand control allows the user to independently control the bed to transition from lying in bed to the seated postion and then rotating to be able to stand up from the bed. The Lomond features a battery back-up system to ensure the bed never gets stuck in any of the multiple positions in the event of a power cut. Easy to dismantle and assemble without tools for storage and transporting.
The bed is available in an Oak Wood finish. For added safety and comfort the bed includes full side rails and a memory foam articulated mattress with a multi-stretch vapour permeable PU cover. There is a 3 year warranty on the bed frame and 2 years on all motors and electrics.
