About the Foldalite Powerchair
The Foldalite is an innovative powerchair that incorporates stylish and modern features for a smooth and comfortable ride.
Ideal for transporting, the chair is incredibly easy to fold down, without the need for tools or specialised knowledge. Once folded down it can be easily transported around using the existing wheels and a conveniently placed pull handle. For storage and stability purposes, when not in use the collapsed chair features a kickstand.
The Foldalite offers a smooth ride, especially when outside. The large rear wheels provide extra stability and are made from a solid puncture proof compound, ideal for travelling over uneven terrain. The powerful 180-watt motor makes light work of outdoor journeys including hills and gravel.
Although the Foldalite is incredibly practical it does not compromise on comfort and safety. The tension in the backrest can be fully adjusted to best suite the users needs and the seat cushion is removable for convenience. The footrest and arm rests are both easy to flip up to allow the user to get into and out of the seat unobstructed. The chair also features knee protectors and under seat storage. For extra security the chair comes with a seatbelt that can be secured to the user if necessary.
Combined with the traditional features of a powerchair, the Foldalite also embraces modern technology. The digital joystick features a USB socket, auto shutdown and a SOS emergency alarm. Additionally, it allows the user to select one of three sensitivity settings to decide how responsive the joystick is in different environments. The joystick can be easily removed and refitted to any arm rest so the user can operate the controls with either hand.
Additionally, the powerchair has lightweight lithium batteries that can be removed for off board charging. For added convenience the chair has onboard charging in the armrests, preventing the user bending unnecessarily. When fully charged the chair has an impressive range of up to nine miles.

Delivery and Returns
A specialist company (Healthcare Distribution Direct) is used to carry out the installation and to demonstrate how it works and also take away all packaging. This option will normally take 1 - 2 weeks and you will be contacted to arrange a suitable installation date.
The Delivery Only option is really only suitable for those people who can either install themselves or get help from a friend or family member as the delivery driver will only take up to the threshold. We can normally arrange delivery within 2-3 working days assuming there is stock.
