The Apollo 5 Plus Dynamic Mattress is a high-specification replacement mattress designed for users at very high risk of pressure ulcer development. It is suitable for use in care homes, nursing facilities and long-term clinical environments where effective and reliable pressure area care is required.
The mattress combines 18 individual alternating air cells with a supportive foam base delivering targeted pressure redistribution while maintaining stability. A static mode is included, providing a firm, stable surface to assist with nursing care and repositioning.
Supplied with a quiet, easy-to-use pump, pressure levels can be manually adjusted to suit the user’s weight and position, ensuring consistent comfort. Integrated humidity management supports a healthier skin environment by helping to reduce moisture build-up.
To support hygiene control, the mattress is fitted with a zipped, fluid-resistant cover. This can be wiped clean or machine washed.
