Product Information
Developed for users that are high risk of developing pressure sores the Artemis II Dynamic mattress system now includes many ranges of therapy modes for patients such as automatic pressure control so it will automatically adjust the pressure to the optimum level based on the patients weight. It also features max inflate mode for up to 20 minutes allowing carers to move or reposition the patient safely.
- Automatic Pressure control - Adjusts the interal pressure to optimum level based on patients weight and continues to monitor weight every 60 minutes or until it detects a significant change in weight
- Max Inflate Mode - Inflates all cells to the maximum setting for up to 20 minutes whilst the carer moves or repositions the patient
- Low Patient Weight - Ideal setting for patients under 40 kg as it reduces the pressure further for their comfort (Risk assessment by clinical professional should be sought when using this setting)
- Auto Seat Mode - Provides further sacral support by increasing the pressure cells by 10% when used with a profiling bed with the back rest higher than 25°
- Audible and Visual Alerts - Alarms will sound if the patient has exited the bed if there is a power failure or if a service of the system is due after 365 days (8760 hours). These can be muted once the alert is acknowledged.
- CPR dial - Located at the footend easily operated in an emergency for quick deflation
- Transport Mode - When transportation is required or there is a power outage this mode enables pressure redistribution for up to 10 hours
- Cover encapsulates an Anti-Fungal agent to aid in controlling microbial deterioration
- 360° zip for ease of access and waterfall flap to reduce fluid ingress
