The Ashby Bath Shortener is designed to reduce the internal length of a bath and is simply placed at the foot of the bath to prevent the user from slipping down. There is a hole cut into the base that allows water to enter and a breather hole under the handle that allows air to escape. It is constructed from white plastic and features four large suckers that hold the shortener in place two are fixed to the base surface and two to the vertical surface of the bath. It is ideal for people that are shorter in height as it ensures they feel secure in the bath as they are able to rest their feet against something solid. The bath shortener is only suitable for baths with a smooth non-textured base.
