The Boston Healthcare Chair is a highly adaptable porter chair, suitable for general use and particularly beneficial for individuals with complex conditions, such as Parkinson’s, where reliable seating forms an essential part of a 24-hour care programme.

A range of interchangeable seat and back cushion options enables the chair to be configured to meet individual requirements. Each cushion incorporates specific pressure management properties, while the advanced mechanism provides a wide range of smooth, controlled movement. 

With both the user and carer in mind, the Boston delivers comprehensive pressure management and positioning support. Independent Tilt-in-Space, backrest recline and leg rest elevation functions allow precise adjustment to achieve optimal posture. In addition to the traditional heavy-duty push bar, the chair features integrated wing handles that provide a secure and comfortable grip. These handles support carers of different heights and allow the chair to be safely manoeuvred, even when the user is in a fully reclined position.

Four heavy-duty lockable castors ensure stability when stationary and enable the chair to glide smoothly across a range of indoor surfaces.
