The HD Deluxe Bed Positioning Wedge helps patients feeling secure and safe in bed as well as assisting care providers carry out bed manoeuvres.
Each wedge can be used to support and secure a patient in place especially when laying on their side. The wedge is made from high quality and soft foam and is designed to have three different support angles to best suit the patient.
Ideal for use in a hospital or care home environment as each wedge is covered in a non-permeable fabric to stop body fluids from leaking into the foam inside. The fabric is also easy to wipe and clean with antibacterial spray in line with good hygiene standards. In addition the fabric is high grip to keep it securely in place and prevent it from sliding down against satin or cotton sheets.
The wedges are also a great help to care assistance and providers. Each wedge will hold a patient comfortable on their side without the need for physical carer support. The absence of manual support reduces the risk of injury or stain on their backs from over work or reaching.
