The NRS Healthcare Walk Safe Walking Frame has been developed to provide greater confidence and stability when moving around the home. Created in partnership with the University of Salford, it has been proven to be twice as stable when turning compared to a traditional walking frame, helping to make everyday mobility safer and more comfortable.
Designed for smooth indoor use, the Walk Safe features large front swivel castors with a magnetic directional bias that help keep the frame aligned while turning, making it easier to manoeuvre around furniture and tight spaces. The lightweight yet robust frame is available in two adjustable sizes, allowing both the height and width to be tailored for a comfortable, supportive fit.
Comfort has also been carefully considered, with cushioned upper handles that reduce pressure on the hands and wrists during prolonged use. Additional lower handles provide extra support when standing up or sitting down, while the combined rear brake and glide system delivers controlled movement and added stability when stationary.
For even greater convenience, the Walk Safe is compatible with the Buckingham Caddy (sold separately), enabling you to carry meals, drinks and everyday essentials safely while keeping both hands on the frame.
