The Prime Comfort Active Mattress is suitable for those who are at a high risk of developing pressure sores. The mattress is designed to optimise comfort provide protection and prevent irritation.
The mattress layout is in the shape of a ‘U’ to prevent any rolling and to assist transferring the patient into and out of the bed. The mattress is filled with super soft and resilient foam to create the perfect blend between comfort and protect. Each mattress has 10 individual cells that reduce the noise of inflation and deflation. Other additional features include a four way stretch cover that creates an antibacterial and water-resistant barrier between the outside and the internal mechanisms of the mattress.
Best of all the mattress can be without with or without a pump and both ways will still reduce the risk of developing pressure sores.
