The Propad Overlay mattress can make any bed suitable for home care without the high cost of replacing an entire mattress. The Propad Overlay is designed for those at ‘high risk’ of developing pressure ulcers.
The overlay is designed to be place on top of existing traditional mattresses to create a bed suitable for a homecare environment. The overlay features a foam core that is split into individual cells that redistribute the weight of the user to prevent pressure build up that could lead to ulcers and sores.
The mattress is coated in a waterproof coat that is fully removable to aid cleaning. The underside is made from a non-slip material to ensure full stability and reduce the risk of falls and slips.
