The Signature Comfort Plus Profiling bed specifically features adjustable bed rails on both sides a perfect addition for preventing falls. Each rail is made from three parts that can each be raised and lowered for unobstructed access into and out of the bed. Additionally the rails can be used as grab handles to help the user stand and reposition themselves in bed.
To help upgrade the users comfort level the bed can be fully adjusted to suit their needs and requirements. The backrest can be raised to support a sitting upright position ideal for reading or watching television. Moreover the footrest can be lifted to help relieve tension and pressure from the feet a good solution for those who suffer from fluid build-up in their legs.
The bed can be raised to waist height to help caregivers comfortably carry out their duties without overstretching or risk of injury. The bed frame can also be lowered to floor level for easy access and reduce the risk of injury should the user fall out of bed.
Made from high quality steel the frame is robust and durable and has a safe working load of over 30 stone. Ensuring its reliability and longevity to carry out its clinical functions. Each leg of the frame features a castor for easy movement of the bed once in position the castors can be locked to keep it firmly in place.
