The Softform Premier Active 2 hybrid mattress provides essential therapy to those at a very high risk for developing pressure ulcers. The mattress acts as an active interface in addition to being a comfortable bed thereby minimising the need to transfer the user.
The key feature of this mattress is the digital pump that can be activated to utilise the movement technology within to reduce pressure on sores that have already occurred and prevent any new ulcers from forming. The clever design allows the air cells to alternate inflating on a ten-minute cycle to ensure all parts of the body receive treatment. The digital pump is also fitted with noise reduction technology that allows for a peaceful night sleep.
The mattress is equipped with a highly resistant sheet to help to prolong the longevity of the mattress. The sheet is multi stretch and waterproof to prevent any fluids from seeping into the foam. Additionally the sheet is secured with a full-length zip allowing for easy removal for cleaning purposes.
Whilst providing a high-quality therapy the mattress also offers a comfortable place to lay your head.
