The Invacare Softform Premier Visco is a high specification mattress designed for users considered at ‘High Risk’ of developing pressure sores. It features a high density visco elastic foam insert which is temperature-sensitive to the body allowing it to conform to the users bodyshape. It also features a single piece foam U-core that facilitates patient transfer by providing effective sidewall support and the robust foam base prevents the mattress bottoming out. The mattress does not require turning and so minimising manual handling issues and its modular construction enables easy replacement of parts. The cover is two-way stretch waterproof PU with high frequency welded seams and a full length flap concealing the zip.
The mattress has a maximum user weight of 247kg (39 stone).
