Struggling to hear the buzz from an intercom? The Sound Sensor Transmitter is a clever and affordable solution.
Ideal for those who are deaf or hard of hearing the Sound Sensor alerts the user whenever the door intercom system is activated. The transmitter is easy to fix next to the intercom using the strong self-adhesive pad provided. Once attached to the wall the microphone is connected to the intercom system. Each Sound Sensor Transmitter can be easily paired with existing alerting receivers such as a flashing chime or a vibrating alarm.
Once an intercom sound or vibration has been detected via the microphone a signal will be sent to the transmitter. The transmitter will then wirelessly activate the receiver to alert the user to someone at the door.
The transmitter has three sensitivity settings low medium and high to prevent false activation caused by other sounds or vibrations. Additionally the transmitter has an impressive range of 300 m to the receiver allowing for a greater freedom of movement around the home.
