The Transflo Cushion has been designed using a combination of high density foam and a unique silicone gel ‘floatation’ system. There are two fluid filled multi-stretch sacs that are encased within a supportive foam surround. The fluid is able to move between compartments as the cushion contours to the body’s shape and redistributes pressure over the widest surface area possible. The cushions design encourages the user to sit in a neutral pelvic tilt. The cooling gel surface helps with pressure sore management by providing a minor temperature reduction of the skin surface.
It is suitable for users considered at ‘Very High Risk’ of pressure sore development.
Available in Leisure version which has a heigh of 2.5" and a max user weight of 140kg (22 stone) or Standard version which has a heigh of 3.5" and a max user weight of 178kg (28 stone)
