Designed for maximum patient safety and comfort The Satin SIBA 4-way Top Draw Sheet is essential for those in a care home or medical environment.
Made from high quality fabric the sheet is simple and easy to fit without removing the patient from the bed. The cotton and polyester blend can be rewashed multiple times up to 90oc perfect for good hygiene practices. Additionally the sheet can be left underneath the patient at all times in order to reduce movement and potential injury.
Ideal for those who enjoy sitting up in bed for reading or watching television the Satin SIBA prevents the patient slipping down the bed. The sheet features two large red loops located at the top end that can be used with the adjustable red straps to secure in place. Once secured in place the sheet will not slip any further down the bed which in turn allows patients to sit upright comfortably without the risk of sliding.
Please note that the straps need to be attached to a structural sound part of the bed frame underneath the mattress and pulled tight to secure in place. The attachments will still allow a profiling bed to be moved and adjusted freely without any obstructions.
The innovative sheet will also help reduce bed and pressure sores that can occur due to lying on creases for extended periods of time. The satin sheet will lie flat without creasing particularly if both sides are tucked into the mattress which further restricts the movement of the sheet.
Additionally the sheet will assist care providers in carrying out their tasks such as repositioning and turning the patient. The design features handles to help with multidirectional movement. For further ease the sheet is compatible with all types of hoists and has an impressive maximum user weight of 400 kg.
