SIBA Satin Sheet Pillowcase

Help patients move and turn in bed effortlessly and safely with the SIBA Satin pillowcase. The simple pillowcase works in conjunction with a satin sheet to make movements in bed easy.

Ideal for those who struggle to manoeuvre in bed such as those in a care home or medical environment. The pillowcase features one side of satin that when placed against a satin sheet’s slippery panel will seamlessly glide over each other to make movement of the head easy and effortless. The pillowcase will move with a patient during transfers which allows them to move independently or with limited assistance.

Once in place the pillowcase can be secured by simply tucking in the cotton flaps on the side. Additionally the flaps can be used as handles to move and lift the pillow and enable the care provider to move a patient’s head safely and properly. Thus reducing the risk of injury through improper handling of the neck and head.

The flip side of the pillow is made from high quality soft polycotton which is soft and comfortable against the skin allowing the patient to get a good night’s sleep. The pillowcase is easy to remove and can be rewashed multiple times up to 90oc perfect for good hygiene practices.
