Simple Music Player - Racing Green

The Simple Music Player is easy to operate and has been specifically designed for people living with Dementia. Music can have quite remarkable beneficial effects for people with dementia both in terms of improving the quality of life and for its healthy restorative effects on cognizance and lucidity. Dementia sufferers can often face difficulties when trying to operate modern music playing equipment especially when remembering how to operate the controls or manipulation of knobs and non-tactile buttons which can often be confusing. The styling of the music player is reminiscent of old radios and is instantly recognisable as something which plays music.  

The setting up of the player is undertaken by friends family or carers as a one-time process and then to start playing music you just lift the lid. Then to skip a song the user simply presses the large black button that is only visible when the lid has been lifted. To stop the music you just close the lid and repeat the process. The music will always continue from where it was last stopped.

It is simple to upload music into the Simple Music Player by means of a USB cable connection to your computer. There is no software to install and it is compatible with all systems which support USB 'plug and play' devices such as Microsoft and Apple.
