About the Solo Comfort Plus Profiling Floor Bed
The Solo Comfort Plus Profiling Floor Bed offers maximum support to the user and their care providers. Each frame has a comprehensive set of features designed for unbeatable safety, comfort, and style.
For safety purposes the bed can be lowered to the floor, at a height of just 11 cm. The ultra-low height helps to reduce the risk of injury should the user roll or fall out of bed, especially at night. Coupled with the telescopic split side rails that can be raised for maximum security. When necessary one or all the side rail sections can be lowered for unobstructed access to the bed.
Additionally, the bed frame can be raised to waist height allowing nurses and care givers easy access to complete tasks such as turning and repositioning the user. Each care giver can easily change the height of the bed to best suit their needs and prevent any uncomfortable straining in their backs.
To control the electronic features of the profiling bed there is a wired handset, that can be controlled by both the user and caregiver. The remote has large, illustrated buttons that are easy to distinguish and understand and comes with a complete ‘how to guide’ to get the most out of the bed. When not in use the remote can be clipped onto the side of the bed frame for easy access.
The Solo Comfort Plus Profiling Floor Bed also features extra bed adjustments to help the user get comfortable while laying down. The footrest can be raised to help relieve tension and pressure from the feet, a good solution for those who suffer from fluid build-up in their legs.
Additionally, the profiling bed has features for improved comfort while sat upright in the bed including a padded backrest and auto-regression. The auto- regression allows the backrest to slide down while being raised to help prevent painful stomach compression. Furthermore, when relaxing the bed has a chair position, whereby the backrest is raised and the bed tilted forward, ideal for watching television.
Each beds style can be customised to ensure it blends into any home without drawing unwanted attention. The headboard design and fabric can each be chosen from a selection of warm and neutral designs. While the side rails come in a choice of two wooden finished that are both chic and elegant.
The innovative profiling bed is also able to accommodate taller users, with its integrated length extension that can provide an additional 20 cm of length.
